Frequently Asked Questions

What are your rates?

Rates depend on how many sessions you are signing up for, and whether we are training at a location of your choosing or at NEW ERA MMA.

All rates will be made clear during the consultation appointment. No surprises or shady deals.

Where are the sessions conducted?

I can travel to your location (for now, I am able to only serve areas in the East / central). Void decks, parks, your condo gym, multi-purpose halls are all viable locations for training.

If you’d prefer to train in a gym environment, we can train at NEW ERA MMA.

What equipment do I need?

If you are a beginner and have no gloves, no worries! The trial session can be adapted so that we do not need gloves.

In the long run, you will need at a pair of gloves and ideally, a pair of hand wraps to protect your hands.

If we are training outdoors, you’ll need a pair of sports shoes.

My child is less than 10 years old. Can you teach him?

If your child is under 10 years old, I strongly recommend joining a group class instead at NEW ERA MMA.

At that age, your child will learn better in a group setting. The social aspect of learning something new, fun and challenging with other children is immensely beneficial.

Is your consultation / trial lesson free?

Yes and No.

A $50 deposit will be collected in order to book a consultation slot. This prevents ghosting.

Another $50 will be collected to book your trial lesson(Total: $100).

Whether you decide to sign up for further lessons or not, the initial $50 deposit for your consultation will be refunded to you after the trail lesson. In essence, the consultation was ‘free’.

I am a professional, and conduct myself like one. I believe that professionals should be paid for their services and time.

Am I fit enough to do this?

During our consultation, I will assess your fitness level and adapt our sessions according to your level.

I have worked with people of all ages and fitness levels and am experienced enough to adapt to my students’ needs.

In case of emergencies, I am also first aid trained.

What makes you different from other Personal Trainers?

There are many PTs who are very knowledgeable in their field.

What makes a PT stand out is HOW they teach their clients.

With more than a decade of teaching and combat sport experience, I bring a teacher’s eye and mind to my sessions. I add value to my sessions in HOW I conduct them.
